Corn Bread


  • 160g corn kernels, cooked

  • 2 eggs
  • 50g softened butter
  • 50g plain flour
  • 10g caster sugar
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 40g cheddar cheese, grated
  • 50g Butter for serving   


  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C. 
  2. Add the kernels to the Bamix jug and blend into a rough puree with the C blade. 
  3. Add the remaining ingredients but the cheese and blend until everything is well incorporated. 
  4. Grease a small loaf tin, add the batter and sprinkle the cheddar cheese on top.
  5. Bake in the oven for 25-30 minutes. 
  6. Slice and serve with butter.
